Mrs. Mash the Storytelling Cook is Marie Louise Cochrane Storyteller.

Marie Louise was born and brought up in Edinburgh, Scotland where she still lives.
Her earliest experiences of storytelling were children's stories and long-winded jokes told to her and her sisters by her parents, as well as humorous stories accompanied by singing at family parties in her granny's house. She soon learned to do a "party piece" and has been carrying on in one way or another, ever since!
Her warm, friendly manner and a background in social work, counselling and health promotion enable her to work well with all kinds of audience. Her experience in performing, creating, collecting stories and facilitating workshops ensure that she is a welcome guest in many settings.
Marie Louise is a member of the Scottish Network of Storytellers, Disclosure checked and has a Royal Institute for Environmental Health Scotland qualification in Food and Health.
